Forthcoming Gigs:

158 GIGS PLAYED... AND COUNTING!

Retrobution are a seven-piece band based in and around Milton Keynes in the UK - a classic line up of five instrumentalists with male and female lead vocalists, plus a heap of well-known songs have resulted in a rapidly-growing following.

We originally formed in Summer 2000 almost by accident, during a series of workshops held for local musicians at The Stables, Wavendon. Following a hugely successful end-of-term gig (where we had everyone dancing in the aisles), we decided to continue with the band that became Retrobution. A couple of line up changes later, and we're still going strong.

We play cover versions drawn from a wide range of styles - songs by the Rolling Stones and Free sit next to hits by Bryan Adams and Queen in our song list. And that's just the first set!

Our second set typically begins with classic soul standards in the style of the Blues Brothers and Commitments, before turning to good old-fashioned rock'n'roll.

You WILL dance!

Comments:

Everyone I spoke to afterwards was very impressed by the band; even the bar staff asked for details. To be honest I think you made their evening!

John (organiser)

Just a quick note to say how pleased everyone was with Saturday night at the Orangery. I know for a fact that everyone had a great time!

Stuart (party organiser)

I just wanted to thank you and the rest of 'Retrobution' for the fantastic performance on Saturday night. Everyone loved the music and we have had so many comments about how good it was and people wanting to know about the band. We'll certainly recommend you and pass on your details to anyone we know who would like them. The disco was brilliant as well and the band, combined with that made a really good evening.

The bride's parents!
